Reform Sound System comes to the Troyeville this Saturday!

Tired of the Saxonwold Shebeen where they allow embarrassing dancers like Carl Niehaus in these days?
Bored with other venues where the music is predictable, the food bland, the beer expensive, the patrons too cool for their own good and the area Uber-reluctant?

We’ve got you sorted.

Join us as we try out a new concept and venue for our beloved nearly decade-old REFORM parties. Sat 2 Dec sees REFORM teaming up with the Troyevile Hotel from 2pm doing a lunch to sunset listening session followed by dancefloor grooves to midnight.

We are also proud to have DJ Eddy de Clercq, founder of the renowned Soul Safari website and African music connoisseur on the decks alongside Mxolisi, DJ Jun, Charles and Marc, where we’ll be playing our 6 decade spread of soul, raregroove, springbokradiohits, townshipjive, reggae, northern soul, girlgroups, swingjazz, vintagedisco, indie, funk, hip-hop, pre&postpunk, Nigeria70s, dub, dancehall and other rarities heard nowhere else in our fine city.
