Wednesday from 18:30-21:30
“The fight to legalise and integrate medical cannabis in our official pharmacopeia is a fight for our right to health as enshrined in the International Declaration of Human Rights.” Jay Naidoo.
What are you doing on Wednesday? Joining Luke Hutchinson at the Troyeville, that’s what! He’s in conversation with author Lucie Pagé about her fascinating journey into discovering the incredible healing properties of marijuana following a debilitating illness that doctors couldn’t cure… and the satirical novel that came out of that.
Luke is stepping into the lovely tradition of hosting authors at the Troyeville Hotel over dinner. Come and join Luke and Lucie in conversation and enjoy the Troyeville’s famous Portuguese-inspired menu.
Lucie also happens to be married to former minister and struggle stalwart Jay Naidoo, and her book, Sex, Pot and Politics draws on a life watching South Africa’s politics unfold as a journalist, author and Jay’s wife.
Booking is essential. Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
